Walking Through Walls
I think every human as a time in their life when they feel they hit a wall. Perhaps it is on the physical level, such as a life-threatening illness, a debilitation injury, chronic pain, or a chronic disease. Perhaps it is on the emotional level from a divorce, a loss of a job or a financial disaster, hitting bottom from an addiction, or the loss of a loved one. One finds themselves walking through the dark night of the soul. We wish it wasn’t there. We fight it as long as we can. But what if we learned to dance with it? And in the process of dancing with it, we find ourselves on the other side? We have walked through it. This is the topic of a talk I am giving at Unity of Pensacola on 9th Ave. during the 10A service. There will be a book signing of my new book, Integrative Medicine: The Return of the Soul to Healthcare afterwards, about 11:30. All are welcome!
